Take an empty tin can.

Leave one side closed. This way you avoid too much draft in the insect house and increase the chances of residents.

Cut bamboo sticks (or other hollow stems) to the length of the canner.

Fill the tin completely with the sticks.

Make sure there are enough sticks in there so you can flip the can without them falling out.

Finish by attaching a string around the canner with hot glue.

Provide a loop so you can hang the insect house in your garden. 🐝🌿
