Tea Light Holder

What do you need.
- Empty Elvea can, rinsed out and without wrapper
- hammer
- nail or nail
- paper
- adhesive tape
- pencil
- (frozen)
How do I get started?

1Take a piece of paper that just fits around your can, but don't glue it around it yet. Set it aside for a moment.

2Fill the tin 4/5 full with water and place it nicely upright in the freezer.

3Meanwhile, make a drawing on the paper. Mark with dots where you want holes to be.

4When the water is frozen, wrap the paper around the can and tape it in place.

5Using the hammer and nail, punch holes on the dots indicated. Don't punch the holes too close, or you'll end up with a big hole.

6When you're done, take the wrapper off again. Let the ice melt (when it has melted a little, you can already remove the ice nugget from your can).

7Light a tea light in your homemade tea light holder 🙂 .
TIP: If necessary, provide two holes at the top of the can. Attach an iron wire through these as a handle.
Note: You can also do this project without a freezer, but then you have to be careful not to put dents in the can. With an ice lump in the can, it goes much easier.
