Tomato-plant pots

What do you need.

Empty Elvea cans
Potting soil
Wood sticks
Tomato seeds (we let these grow a little before transplanting them into the can) 🍅

Sow the tomato seeds.

It is best to start in a small pot or container and let the seeds germinate until they are a little stronger.

Fill the Elvea cans with a layer of potting soil.

Place the seedlings in the tin.

Top up further with potting soil so that the plants are firmly established.

When the sprigs grow larger, place a wooden stick in the pot.

Carefully tie the branch to the stick so that it does not sag and can grow nice and straight.

If the plant eventually gets too big, you can transplant it into a larger Elvea can.

Afterwards, it can continue to grow in a larger flower pot if necessary.
