The red Datterini tomatoes, the yellow Datterini tomatoes as well as the passata made from Datterini tomatoes were awarded the Superior Taste Award and were each awarded 2 gold stars.
This award is a unique international recognition, and is also called the ‘Michelin Guide to Food. More than 120 countries participate in the Superior Taste Award. The products are sensory analyzed, namely blindly tested for their specific characteristics, with emphasis on the intensity of taste pleasure. These tests are conducted by 120 renowned chefs and taste experts and continue at the iTQI (International Taste & Quality Institute) in Brussels.
