Did you know that Elvea's history began in this charming village in Italy? When brothers Luigi and Francesco Vitelli moved to the US in 1885, they missed home tastes so much that they began importing preserves from Torre del Greco. The start of our story!

Every culinary adventure with ELVEA begins in the rich, fertile Italian soil. Starting in February, the seeds are planted, after which they grow into strong plants. From the end of July, the tomatoes are ripe, juicy and ready to be harvested.

Every great tomato starts with strong roots. Do you know how many days it takes for a seed to become a full-fledged tomato plant? The genetic cycle lasts about 100 to 120 days after planting.
