Ingredients

4 persons

  • 300 grams of mixed ground meat
  • 5 tablespoons grated Parmesan
  • leaf of fresh basil
  • 1 dash of whiskey
  • 1 pinch of smoked paprika
  • 1 cube ELVEA Cubes
  • 1 lime
  • aioli
  • pepper
  • olive oil

Preparation

  1. 1

Mix the minced meat with the Parmesan cheese, fresh basil, and a pinch of pepper. Then, roll them into balls. Fry the balls until golden brown in a splash of olive oil and deglaze them with a splash of whiskey.

  2. 2

Let the alcohol cook off and add the smoked paprika powder, the cubes, and a generous splash of water.

  3. 3

Let the meatballs simmer gently for a little longer and season with extra salt and pepper if necessary.

  4. 4

Take a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and grate a layer of Parmesan cheese onto it. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for five minutes. Let cool.

  5. 5

Transfer the balls to a small bowl. Grate some extra Parmesan cheese and lime zest over them. Finally, top with the crispy baked Parmesan cheese and aioli.
