Ingredients

4 persons

  • 0.5 of ready-made pizza dough or homemade
  • 75 grams of ground meat
  • 50 gram Elvea Pomodoro and Legumes
  • 1 tablespoon grated mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 of an egg yolk
  • A few basil leaves
  • pepper
  • salt
  • olive oil

Preparation

  1. 1

Fry the minced meat in a dash of olive oil. Then mix in the Pomo e Legumi and the crushed mozzarella. Season with salt and pepper.

  2. 2

Roll out the pizza dough and cut out rounds about 10 cm in diameter, using a cutting ring.

  3. 3

Place a teaspoon of the mince mixture in the center of each doughnut. Fold the sides inward over the minced meat so that you obtain a closed ball.

  4. 4

Take 4 strings and gently stretch them over the dough balls in 4 different directions so that you get grooves. Knot close, but don't tighten the knot too hard so there is still some stretch to it.

  5. 5

Place the pumpkins on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Brush them with beaten egg yolk and bake for 15 minutes in a preheated 180-degree oven. Remove the strings and and finish the pumpkins with basil leaves before serving.
