test

  • 4 burger buns (e.g., brioche or ciabatta buns)
  • 4 beef burgers
  • 2 bulbs mozzarella
  • 8 slices Roasted red pepper
  • green olives
  • black olives
  • 4 tablespoons green pesto
  • 2 handful arugula
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cut the mozzarella into slices.

  2. 2

Grill or fry the beef burgers in a pan with some oil until golden brown and cooked through.

  3. 3

During the last minute, place the mozzarella on top so that it begins to melt gently.

  4. 4

Cut open the buns and toast them briefly in a pan or toaster for a crispy interior.

  5. 5

Mix the arugula with a little lemon juice, olive oil and a pinch of salt.

  6. 6

Cut the peppers into fine strips.

  7. 7

Finely slice the olives and mix in.

  8. 8

Build up the burger. Start with the bottom of bun with arugula, the burger with melted mozzarella, a generous layer of pesto, strips of roasted bell bell pepper, an olive mixture and suit with top of bun.

  9. 9

Serve immediately, with fries or a fresh salad if desired.
