Shakshuka

Ingredients

4 persons

  • 2 cans ELVEA Cubes
  • 2 tablespoons Elvea Tomato Concentrate
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 rode paprika
  • 1 yellow bell peppers
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 small rolls
  • 2 balls of burrata
  • Fresh green herbs (cilantro
  • parsley
  • basil
  • …)
  • olive oil

Preparation

    Finely chop the onion, garlic, and bell peppers. Sauté in a splash of olive oil. Then add the cubes and tomato paste. Let it simmer gently for a few minutes and make two wells in the shakshuka. Crack two eggs into the wells and then put the pan in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 3 to 4 minutes.

    Cut the bread into soldiers and fry them golden brown in the pan with a drizzle of olive oil.

    Remove the shakshuka from the oven. Finish with burrata and fresh green herbs. Serve with the crispy fried soldiers.
